# Sign In to HBO Max on TV Through Your Cable or Internet Provider

If you get HBO Max (or HBO) through an internet, mobile, or TV provider, you sign in on your TV by connecting that provider. You'll use the 6-digit TV code or QR code, then sign in with your provider account details.

## Connect your provider on your TV

    On your TV, when asked to sign in or create an account, choose **Connect Your Provider**.

  <Step title="Open the code page on your phone or computer">
    Scan the QR code on your TV with your phone camera, or go to **hbomax.com/tvsignin** (listed officially as **HBOMax.com/signin**) and enter the 6-digit code from your TV.

  <Step title="Choose your provider">
    Choose or search for the company you get HBO Max through.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Sign in with your provider account">
    On your provider's sign-in screen, enter your provider username and password (not your HBO Max password).

  Your provider account login is usually different from your HBO Max login. If you don't know it, check your provider's website or bill.

## "Needs you to sign in again" message

Providers sometimes require you to verify your subscription again. Choose **Connect Your Provider**, pick your provider, and sign in with your provider account. This is normal and doesn't mean anything is wrong with your account.

## "Can't verify your subscription" message

Sign in to your provider's website and check that HBO Max is included in your package. If it isn't, contact your provider.
